Electronic wall drying: a long-lasting solution for rising damp

Wall humidity is often linked to rising damp: water contained in the ground naturally rises through porous materials (brick, stone, mortar). This phenomenon affects both old and newer homes and can lead to damp walls, mold, salt deposits, aesthetic damage, and discomfort.

This system is a wall damp-proof device designed to help with the drying of damp walls and the treatment of rising damp, without chemical injections and without invasive work. Thanks to its electromagnetic polarity inversion technology, it acts at the source of the issue and supports gradual action over time on moisture in masonry.

⚙️ How the ATE LC30 works

Every wall generates a natural electrical potential difference with the ground, which promotes the upward movement of water by capillary action. It acts at the source of the problem: it emits low electromagnetic impulses at very low frequency, reversing the polarity of water in the wall.

The water molecules then change direction and move back down by gravity toward the foundations. This mechanism allows progressive drying while respecting the building structure.

This device is a solution for wall moisture problems linked to rising damp. It helps push moisture back toward the ground, dry out materials, and preserve the structure and comfort of your home.

Result: walls are generally dried within 18 to 24 months, depending on the building configuration and compliance with the installation recommendations.

🛠️ Our installation recommendations

Location: install the device between 30 cm and 1 m from the floor, on a damp load-bearing wall (never on dry lining or plasterboard).

Minimum distance: at least 1.50 m from any electronic device.

Fixing: mount it like a wall frame, without moving it.

Connection: the device operates continuously – very low consumption.

✅ Tips for optimal wall drying

Remove waterproof (film-forming) coatings 10 to 20 cm above the damaged area to allow the walls to breathe.

Ensure good home ventilation: VMC/mechanical ventilation, window vents, undercut doors (1.5 cm in dry rooms, 2 cm in humid rooms).

After drying, remove hygroscopic salts from the surface by brushing. Reapply lime-based plaster with an anti-salt additive.

Install drainage if lateral infiltration caused by hydrostatic pressure is present.
