Mandatory Technical Recommendations
1 – Recommendations for ATE and ATG products:
Installation of the ATE or ATG polarity inverter against moisture:
“Strictly follow the technical and installation manuals for setting up your device, as well as all recommendations for optimal results.”
Removal of coatings or film-forming coverings:
It is recommended to strip the lower part of the walls during the drying period to 10 cm above the damaged area to allow the walls to “breathe.”
Ventilation of the dwelling:
Proper ventilation is necessary because drying occurs partly through evaporation. It is therefore crucial to install suitable ventilation and ensure that doors and windows comply with standards (doors undercut by 1.5 cm in dry rooms and 2 cm in wet rooms).
Restoration of plaster and paint:
Once the walls have dried, it is essential to brush the surfaces to remove hygroscopic salts. For complete drying, we recommend redoing your lime plaster with an additive against hygroscopic salts.
Installation of a drain:
In the event of lateral infiltration, it is recommended to install drainage to collect and evacuate groundwater before it reaches the foundations.
Important information:
Factors affecting the drying speed of walls include their thickness, composition and covering, as well as compliance with recommendations. This process does not treat infiltration, flooding, or mold, which must be treated separately.
The customer acknowledges that following the recommendations provided by Humidité Conseil is mandatory to ensure the effectiveness of the products. Failure to follow these recommendations may result in loss of warranty.
Our products are sold with a no-results-guarantee clause. Although we provide high-quality products, results may vary depending on environmental conditions and proper use of the device.
For any incorrect installation or use, liability lies with the customer.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
The factors that influence the speed of wall drying include their thickness, composition and covering, as well as compliance with our recommendations.
This type of process does not treat infiltration, flooding problems, or mold in your home; these must be treated independently.
⚠️ WARNING: Our moisture-control products IPE, ATG and ATE must be installed only in old houses without a crawl space.
The customer acknowledges and accepts that following the recommendations and instructions provided by HUMIDITÉ CONSEIL is mandatory to ensure the effectiveness and safety of the products and services provided.
